Founded in 2017 in Altedo, Italy, Memori aims to make generative AI adoption straightforward for businesses through its AIsuru platform. This technology makes conversational AI accessible, secure, and fully compliant with European regulations.
AIsuru enables companies and professionals to build code-free AI Agents tailored to specific business functions. These intelligent assistants can respond to queries, store information, and continuously learn. They can be trained and fine-tuned to minimize errors, ensuring consistently reliable responses.
The platform combines cutting-edge language models (LLMs) – including both proprietary solutions like GPT and Claude, as well as open-source options such as Mistral and Llama – with Memori's proprietary natural language processing (NLP) technology. This integration allows users to develop, manage, and deploy custom AI Agents with ease.
The challenge
Initially, AIsuru was offered exclusively as a Platform as a Service (PaaS) on Memori's secure cloud infrastructure. However, this approach presented adoption barriers for many organizations, particularly those in highly regulated industries.
As Nunzio Fiore, Memori's Founder and CEO, points out: "One of the first questions we hear from enterprise clients is 'Where exactly is my data stored?' For many organizations, public cloud deployments simply aren't viable. That's why we decided to expand AIsuru's availability to private cloud and on-premises environments."
While AIsuru has already been adopted by banks, engineering firms, publishing houses, hotel chains, pharmaceutical companies, manufacturers, and educational institutions for various applications – from virtual guides to sales support, training consultants, product configurators, and document processing assistants – Memori needed a solution for clients with even more stringent security requirements to further expand its market reach.
The solution
To address these needs, Memori partnered with Lenovo to develop a purpose-built hardware solution for on-premises deployments. This solution is optimized to run both the AIsuru platform and selected language models locally.
Trusted technology partner Araneum Group handled the design, configuration, and testing of the reference architecture, developing custom software at the Lenovo Innovation Center.
The implementation is built around the Lenovo ThinkSystem SR675 V3 server equipped with four NVIDIA® L40S Tensor Core GPUs.
Araneum Group's team spent a month at the Lenovo Innovation Center conducting extensive testing on the ThinkSystem SR675 V3 server. During this period, they developed custom integration software to bridge the AIsuru platform with Lenovo hardware while benchmarking three existing AI Agents to verify performance metrics.
The four NVIDIA L40S Tensor Core GPUs dedicated to AI workloads made the Lenovo ThinkSystem SR675 V3 the perfect server for delivering accelerated performance and efficient execution of generative AI models.
Results and benefits
The collaboration with Araneum Group and Lenovo enables Memori to offer clients a turnkey hardware solution for on-premises AIsuru deployments, complete with seamless integration capabilities for local data sources.
This Lenovo partnership allows organizations to maintain complete control over their AI infrastructure data – a critical requirement for industries with strict regulatory compliance and data sovereignty needs, as well as for deployments in locations with connectivity limitations.
Key benefits
- Validated reference architecture tested specifically for on-premises AI deployments;
- Enhanced performance through dedicated GPU acceleration;
- Complete data sovereignty and governance.
Looking to the future
"This collaboration marks a significant milestone in Memori's evolution," says Nunzio Fiore, founder and CEO. "By offering on-premises implementation options, we aim to help businesses across all sectors harness the full potential of AI Agents through AIsuru."
This strategic partnership enables companies in regulated industries to maximize AI capabilities through secure on-premises deployments of the innovative AIsuru platform, powered by Lenovo and NVIDIA technologies.
